Senior Manager, Data Engineering

To drive the architecture and strategy of a modern enterprise data platform, the remote full-time Senior Manager, Data Engineering will lead the central data team, support organization-wide data initiatives, and prepare teams for AI readiness through innovative data solutions. Key responsibilities Drive platform strategy and architecture by defining the technical roadmap for the Enterprise Data Platform using tools like Snowflake and dbt Balance platform evolution with business support, transitioning teams toward a modern operating model while aiding critical data initiatives Embed AI into data analytics by designing pipelines and analytics models to prepare teams for AI integration Required qualifications Demonstrated experience in transitioning data structures into AI-ready units and knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures Five or more years of experience leading high-performing data engineering or analytics teams Deep architectural knowledge of Snowflake and dbt, including analytics engineering and modeling standards Experience with self-service data platform environments and Data Mesh architectural frameworks Strong hands-on experience with cloud-native ETL/ELT tools, preferably Matillion Data Productivity Cloud
