Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with a TX PT license (or compact) to treat orthopedic, balance, deconditioning, and pain patients.

Job Details

• Outpatient setting treating orthopedic, balance, deconditioned, and pain patient populations,
• Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM,
• 13-week assignment with temp-to-perm possibility,

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Doctorate preferred,
• PT license in the state of TX (or compact) required, if applicable,
• BLS certification required (AHA only),
• Minimum 1 year of experience required,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, evaluating, and implementing physical therapy care plans,
• Gathers patient data from charts and other caregivers, coordinating with physicians as needed,
• Independently assesses assigned patients and formulates measurable, realistic treatment goals,
• Regularly reassesses patient progress per department and regulatory policy,
• Candidates who have previously worked at any CHRISTUS Health System facility must have a 6-month separation period before starting a new travel assignment
