Shipping Specialist The Shipping Specialist has a critical role in our business in ensuring customer orders are shipped accurately and on time. You are the last person to handle a customer’s order, so you will leave an impression on every shipment that leaves our facility. Primary Job Duties Double check part quality & quantity Pick & package parts for secure & cost effective shipment (parcels & skids) Prepare all necessary documents and paperwork for domestic and foreign shipments and coordinate with customers and shipping carriers Meet accuracy and on-time delivery objectives Skills Have a high school diploma or equivalent education Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills for professional interactions with freight carriers, customers, customs officials, and other Trico employees Be willing to learn how to use material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and a forklift Within one month, obtain and maintain OSHA-complaint forklift certification Be able to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds and carry them for up to 10 feet Be able to stand, sit, bend, reach, and move about the facility Display flexibility to accommodate changing tasks and priorities Job Type: Full-time Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Experience warehouse / shipping: 1 year (Preferred) Picking & Packing Parts: 1 year (Preferred) Equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, etc.): 1 year (Preferred) paperwork (domestic & foreigh shipments, customers, carries): 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
