TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Revenue Cycle Supervisor in Westchester County, NY for our client, supporting patient accounts, hospital billing, revenue cycle operations, and insurance reimbursement activities. This leadership role will oversee daily billing and collections operations, monitor staff performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive process improvements across the revenue cycle. The ideal candidate will bring strong inpatient hospital revenue cycle experience, leadership skills, and expertise in third-party billing and reimbursement.

Responsibilities as the Revenue Cycle Supervisor:
- Revenue Cycle Leadership: Supervise daily patient accounts operations, ensuring timely and accurate billing, collections, and follow-up activities for third-party payers.
- Staff Management: Lead, mentor, train, and evaluate team members while monitoring productivity, quality metrics, and overall department performance.
- Billing & Reimbursement Oversight: Review complex billing issues, support reimbursement activities, and ensure compliance with payer guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Reporting & Analytics: Analyze accounts receivable, staff productivity, and financial performance data while preparing operational reports and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement workflow enhancements, training initiatives, and operational controls to improve efficiency and revenue cycle performance.
- Vendor & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal departments, external vendors, and insurance payers to resolve issues, improve processes, and support departmental goals.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required, and an Associate's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification: Healthcare Business Insights (HBI) certification is required during the onboarding period and prior to the start date.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in patient accounts, hospital revenue cycle, medical billing, or healthcare reimbursement is required, including prior leadership or supervisory experience.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience with inpatient hospital revenue cycle operations, third-party billing, insurance reimbursement, and accounts receivable management is required.
- Technical Skills: Experience with revenue cycle systems, healthcare billing platforms, and Microsoft Office applications is required.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong leadership, analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage staff, analyze performance metrics, and maintain compliance in a fast-paced healthcare environment are required.
