A company culture that values teamwork, respect, and responsibility.What You'll Be DoingOperate, disassemble and clean filter pressMeasure and add chemicalsWear required safety equipmentOperate APV – including start-up, shut-down, and cleaningPerform checks as needed to monitor syrup brix/PHOperate flow metersConduct checks, make adjustments, fill out appropriate paperworkPerform duties required of a Processing EmployeeProvide back-up to Glace Tank Room OperatorsOperate pumpsNotify supervisors and other personnel of production problems and assist in identifying and correcting these problemsPlant clean-upWhat You Bring to the Table High school diploma or equivalent 1–2 years of forklift experience preferred (Food Processing a plus). Basic math and clear communication skills.The Work Environment Filter Press Operators work in indoor and outdoor environments. Exposure to wet/humid conditions and extreme heat/cold. Some high noise levels and moving mechanical parts. Exposure to fumes and nuisance dusts. Must wear proper PPE such as bump cap, eye and ear protection, gloves, seatbelts to ensure your safety as well as protecting the quality of our products.
