We Are Hiring TodayWe are looking for a 1st Shift, Local Non-CDL Delivery Driver!As a member of our distribution center team, you'll be responsible for transporting, loading, and unloading tires as well as confirming accuracy of delivery contents.RequirementsFully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned delivery vehicleTransport tires from place of origin to assigned destinationPick-up loads and organize goods in an ordered, logical mannerEnsure contents are properly secured inside of truck to prevent damageSafely and efficiently handle and unload goods at selected destinationsObtain signatures or warehouse scans to confirm and complete deliveries with customersAssist warehouse staff and customers with loading and unloading processesConfirm contents of each shipment load matches the manifest documentPerform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each tripObey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditionsComply with state and local driving regulationsMake safety a priority at all timesQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalent preferredMust have a and maintain a valid state driver's licenseMust be able to acquire and maintain a valid medical cardMust pass background check and drug testPhysically and mentally fitAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. at a timeAble to operate electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.Proficient using GPS and other routing systemsAn innate sense of directionDisciplined, dependable, and resourcefulHigh level of composure and good stress managementMust be an efficient and accountable worker with a clean driving recordMust be authorized to work in the US without a visa or other sponsorshipThis description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not proscribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.Nokian Tyres is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status, or any other status protected by law.
