The role directs month-end closes, refines internal controls, and partners with cross-functional leadership to deliver transparent financial insights that guide business strategy. Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis under US GAAP Ensure strict adherence to SOX internal controls, documenting processes and remediating control deficiencies proactively Prepare SEC filings and financial statements, coordinating with external auditors and internal legal teams Optimize ERP systems (NetSuite or similar) and automated accounting tools to streamline financial workflows Mentor accounting staff, reviewing technical accounting memos and ensuring professional development Partner with financial planning and analysis teams to track budgets, expenses, and key financial metrics What We Are Looking For 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or high-growth tech environments Active CPA license and deep technical knowledge of US GAAP, SOX compliance, and SEC reporting standards Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite) and financial analytics tools Demonstrated ability to lead close processes and manage cross-functional audit deliverables Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Bonus: Big 4 public accounting background and experience scaling accounting operations in a pre-IPO or public tech company #J-18808-Ljbffr
