Finance ManagerLocation: North Charleston, SCWork Schedule: On-siteClearance: Secret ClearanceSalary Range: $78,000–$83,000The OpportunityWe are hiring an IPT Finance Manager & Operations Coordinator to help keep a complex Department of Defense technical program financially sound, operationally organized, and aligned across its teams.This position works closely with IPT leadership, financial management personnel, and individual team leads. You'll play a central role in managing funding activities, maintaining spend plans, coordinating financial data, and ensuring leadership has accurate information to make informed program decisions.If you combine DoD financial management knowledge, project coordination experience, and strong data skills, this role offers an opportunity to directly support mission-critical work.What You'll DoUpdate and maintain financial dashboards on a weekly basis.Provide ongoing support to IPT Business Financial Managers (BFMs).Coordinate with the BFM team on the acceptance of both reimbursable and direct-cite funds.Establish project structures and NWAs in N-ERP for newly received funding.Populate and route FDAs for IPT and organizational review and signature.Develop project cost estimates and communicate scheduled funding-request plans with sponsors.Complete funds-acceptance activities in coordination with the IPT BFM.Create and maintain IPT spend plans in partnership with team leadership.Ensure all funding received has an associated spend plan using the latest approved spend-plan template.Work with team leads to capture regular updates to forecasted costs.Ensure spend-plan data is properly aggregated and ingested into the Power BI data model, enabling cross-project visibility into labor allocation and planned-versus-actual expenditure rates.Support command-level data calls by providing information related to obligation authority, projected monthly expenditures, and carryover projections.Support service PR actions by providing the NWA and funding-document information required to award contract modifications.Help maintain effective communication between teams and leadership, ensuring issues and relevant information move in both directions.Perform other duties as assigned.What You'll BringSecret clearance.Bachelor's degree.Proficiency with Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, Planner, Power BI, and SharePoint.Project management experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.Ability to ensure problems and important information are communicated from individual teams to leadership and from leadership back to the teams.Knowledge of project orders, outdocs, G-Invoicing, and General Terms & Conditions (GT&Cs).Understanding of the 51/49 rule as it applies to reimbursable funds and project orders within the supported DoD environment.Knowledge of N-ERP systems.Familiarity with DoD appropriations.Ability to work on-site in North Charleston, South Carolina.Compensation & BenefitsThe salary range for this position is $78,000–$83,000.
