Position Summary We are seeking Psychiatric Advanced Practice Providers – Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Physician Assistants (PA-C CAQ-PSY) with experience or strong interest in psychiatry and addiction medicine to deliver evidence‑based, patient‑centered telehealth care. As a member of the 406 Recovery clinical team, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with mental health and substance use disorders using guideline driven, evidence‑based approaches. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow‑up visits via telehealth. Diagnose and manage mental health and substance use disorders within scope of license and training. Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, including MOUD (Medication for Opioid Use Disorder) when applicable. Collaborate with supervisors, therapists, and other team members to ensure coordinated, holistic care. Document clinical encounters in the EHR accurately and in a timely manner. Participate in case consultations, quality improvement initiatives, and team meetings as needed. Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, including telehealth requirements, prescribing rules, and controlled substance monitoring programs. Qualifications Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA-C CAQ-PSY) in the state of Montana (or eligibility for Montana licensure). Experience in psychiatry, addiction treatment, primary care with behavioral health, or related fields required. Eligibility to prescribe buprenorphine for MOUD. Strong communication skills and comfort with delivering care virtually. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
