Plus, shift differential for nights and weekends. Levels are; Para Professional: $19.71/hr Peer Support: $20.67/hr. AP: $22.60/hr. Associate level QP: $24.04-$25.48/hr. Bachelor's level QP: $25.48-$26.43/hr.Shift: Nights 8pm-8amSummary: Under indirect supervision, provides, oversees, and/or administers a wide range of psychosocial evaluation/assessment, diagnostic, crisis intervention services in a high-intensity clinical environment which requires a high degree of independent decision-making. Most aspects of this job require clinical assessment and evaluation skills to consumers that report in crisis to a variety of community settings including magistrate's office, community sites, and DAYMARK Service Areas in crisis. Case management/supportive services for disposition of cases is also a core function of this job.Essential duties and responsibilities:This person is an integral member of an array of services. The responsibilities of the para professional include, but are not limited to, the following:Consumer education/advocacySelf helpPre-crisis supportHousingEducation/employmentDeveloping and implementing a mental health wellness recovery action plan (WRAP)Units billed minimum requirement: The direct service guideline is 75% of time spent in specific billable contacts per week in the community. (120 units a week)Qualification requirements:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education/experience:Must fall under one of the two tech levels below AND be able to demonstrate 1 year of experience providing crisis care in assertive outreach, assertive community treatment, emergency departments, inpatient units, or other services providing comprehensive emergency/crisis services.Tech 1:Para professional services are delivered by staff who have the life experience of being diagnosed with a serious mental illness or substance addiction problem, and are currently in recovery, stable, and living without relapses. The paraprofessional has a high school diploma, or GED and at least five years of life experience with a serious mental illness or substance addiction.Peer support - requires peer support certification.AP - requires a bachelor's degree in social work, counseling or another human services field with no experience.Tech 2:QP - requires an associate or bachelor's degree in social work, counseling or another human services field. Qualified professional (QP) required.
