Role Overview This hybrid role based in Parsippany, NJ manages technology capabilities for Manufacturing and Quality, supporting operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and business scalability. You will translate business strategy into technology direction, balancing short‑term needs with long‑term readiness, and deliver solutions through governance, partnerships, and leadership. Responsibilities Lead execution of new technology with Manufacturing and Quality to achieve business objectives by prioritizing initiatives, coordinating deployment, and managing systems across the organization. Drive implementation of enterprise systems and applications for Manufacturing Operations and Quality to foster innovation, enhance customer experience, improve service quality, support business development, reduce costs, and increase productivity and efficiency. Ensure compliance with IT general controls for Manufacturing and Quality and deliver audit artifacts. Partner with Manufacturing and Quality organizations, engage stakeholders and users to enable organizational goals. Manage a portfolio of projects, balance competing priorities, and deliver results with minimal supervision. Incorporate business, regional, and functional strategies into technology goals and objectives. Maintain knowledge of emerging trends and drive appropriate technology decisions. Manage Quality and Manufacturing solutions within and outside of SAP—including eQMS systems and standalone applications integrating with SAP. Accountable for process improvements, design, and implementation across multiple regions (North America, EMEA, LATAM, ASIA & Greater China). Provide hands‑on functional/technical support for Production Planning, Quality Management, Plant Maintenance, and Manufacturing Operations. Define application strategy, architecture, and monitoring; conduct business analysis for solution design, IT validation documentation, SOX compliance, training support, SAP S/4 version upgrades, patches, and integration of new bolt‑Ons and non‑SAP applications. Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, enhance, and support solutions; optimize business processes and value. Qualifications MBA preferred; BA/BS in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, Computer Science/Information Systems (for Manufacturing) or related discipline required. Minimum 5+ years of verifiable technical and functional experience in SAP and non‑SAP Manufacturing and Quality processes. Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. Full‑life‑cycle verifiable experience as a lead in SAP implementation within a medical device/life sciences or manufacturing industry. Experience working with third‑party technical & process organizations to achieve business goals. Experience leading project teams and partnering with third parties to deliver services. Ability to connect business strategies with technical roadmaps. Excellent presentation and communication skills to convey complex business challenges in simplified terms to senior management. Strong knowledge of business processes (e.g., record to report, plan to forecast, quote to cash, source to pay, plan to deliver). Ability to perform fit/gap analysis and write functional specifications for RICEFW objects. Understanding of SDLC, validation processes, and implementation methodologies. Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for technical initiatives. Ability to evaluate existing systems during separation and recommend modifications or new solutions. Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary of $170,000–185,000 (subject to variation by location). Salary ranges are provided in good faith. Base pay is one component of the Total Rewards package, which also includes eligibility for an annual bonus and annual LTI award.
