Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift Location: Hermiston, OR Job ID: 87693 Schedule: 6 nights on / 8 nights off | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM Hours: 40 hours/week Local Pay: $58/hr Travel Pay: $61/hr Weekly Gross: $2,440 Travel Package: $1,240 taxable + $1,200 non-taxable stipend weekly A respected community hospital in Eastern Oregon is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift opportunity with an outstanding 6-on / 8-off schedule. This role is ideal for an Oregon-licensed RRT who wants meaningful patient impact, strong weekly earnings, and extended time off between rotations. You’ll work with a collaborative clinical team providing respiratory care for patients with complex cardiopulmonary conditions, including ventilator management and critical respiratory support. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive respiratory care for patients with COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, and other cardiopulmonary conditions Monitor and manage patients requiring ventilatory support Perform patient assessments and evaluate changes in respiratory, physical, and mental status Respond quickly to urgent patient needs and changes in condition Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams Educate patients and families regarding respiratory care, treatment plans, and recovery support Maintain patient safety, documentation standards, and regulatory compliance Requirements Current Oregon Respiratory Therapist License Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Strong clinical judgment and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Experience managing critical respiratory cases and ventilator patients preferred Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills Why This Role Stands Out 6 nights on / 8 nights off schedule Strong weekly gross pay Travel package available Collaborative community hospital environment Great fit for travelers or local Oregon-licensed RRTs seeking work-life balance #J-18808-Ljbffr
