Granules Consumer Health LLC is located in Manassas, Virginia. We have 106 employees and annual revenue of $76.64 million. We serve as Granules' front-end division for private label over the counter (OTC) products in the US. We offer OTC generics that meet the highest level of quality at an affordable cost. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for incoming raw/packaging material inspection and sampling, disposition of materials, ensuring cleanliness and maintaining the QA sampling booth, while following SOPs pertaining to warehouse.

1st Shift: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM EST

2nd Shift: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM EST

Starting Pay: $18 - $22/hour based on experience

Must have flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, as needed

Job Duties & Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Perform inspection of incoming materials prior to sampling.
• Receipt of materials in SAP system.
• Loading/Unloading of materials.
• Sample materials and follow appropriate documentation.
• Submit samples to QC laboratory for testing.
• Affix disposition labels.
• Maintain and return inventory history card-based material disposition status.
• Staging of material for dispensing.
• Removal/Storage of material in proper location.
• Performing inventories in warehouse.
• Perform any, and all additional tasks relating to warehouse operations as requested.

Requirements

Minimum Experience & Education

• High School Diploma or associate degree.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a warehouse environment
• Experience in cGMP and FDA regulated warehouse is highly desirable

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Must have recent forklift experience, forklift certification is a plus
• Background in cGMP compliance within the pharmaceutical or food manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and reprioritize tasks, as required.
• Flexible and able to adapt to company growth and evolving responsibilities.

Working conditions

• Warehouse environment.
• The physical exertion of this position is medium to heavy work.
• Stand for extended periods of time.
• Lift to 25-50 pounds.
• This role may involve frequent repetitive or prolonged stooping and bending
• Walk frequently.
• May work in a controlled environment requiring special gowning and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet, and body.
• Will need to remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish and artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing and dispensing operation.
• Work around moving equipment and machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• May work or be assigned to a different shift.
• Must have flexibility to work overtime (up to 10-hour days, availability after hours, on weekends and holidays).
