Registered Nurse - Inpatient Addiction Rehab Unit

Schedule

This position requires a schedule of 5-8 hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with some shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM as agreed upon. Working on holidays and every other weekend is expected.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for administering patient care and supporting individuals in the Inpatient Addiction Rehab Unit. Responsibilities include charging nurse duties, providing patient assessments, executing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role may involve floating to similar units within the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Educate patients and families about health management and treatment options.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current state RN license.
• Completion of required health screenings and vaccinations (MMR, Hepatitis B, TB Test, Tdap, Varicella).
• Proof of active driver's license or state ID.
• Successful completion of Core Competency Exam and Skills Checklist.
