Title: Adjunct- Political Science Location: Arlington, Virginia Position Type: Part-Time (Adjunct/Contract) Reports To: School Director AtMarymount University, we believe education transforms lives. Primary Responsibilities Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in assigned discipline Prepare and deliver engaging, student-centered instruction (in-person, hybrid, or online as assigned) Maintains appropriate office hours( 1 hour per week per course) and advises students on coursework Assess student performance and providetimelyfeedback Maintain regular communication with students and department leadership Uphold university academic policies and integrity standards Required Qualifications Master’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, or related field. Demonstratedexpertiseor professional experience in the subject area Strong communicationand instructional skills Commitment to inclusive excellence and student success Why Teach at Marymount? They may make their own contribution to a 403b retirement plan.
