Schedule: Straight Nights 7P-7:30A EOW and Holiday
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 14 weeks
Requirements:
- Current license by the Ohio State Board of Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Minimum 3 years RN experience in Med Surg
- Minimum 1 year of travel experience
- Previous experience in cardiac care or telemetry nursing is required
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients' cardiovascular status using telemetry or other monitoring devices.
- Administer and manage prescribed medications, including cardiac medications.
- Provide post-surgical care for patients recovering from heart surgeries and interventions.
- Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Respond to emergency situations, providing immediate interventions and managing critical care needs.
