This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dynamic, collaborative team of tax lawyers and gain outstanding hands-on experience on the cutting-edge matters shaping the clean energy transition. The Opportunity As an associate, you will partner with our transactional tax lawyers to help clients navigate the complex and rapidly evolving tax landscape of renewable energy transactions. Your work will be varied, sophisticated, and high-impact, including: Advising clients on tax credit qualification, including beginning-of-construction, prevailing wage, and apprenticeship requirements under Internal Revenue Code Sections 45 and 48 Supporting M&A transactions, tax equity financings, tax credit transfers, and other joint ventures Contributing to a practice that offers genuine depth of experience and meaningful client responsibility from day one 1-8 years of relevant experience at a law firm Demonstrated experience with tax credit transactions, tax credit transfers, tax equity financings, and tax opinion letters Excellent academic credentials (required); an LL.M. in taxation is preferred Admission to the Texas Bar, or eligibility for admission by waiver or examination If you are looking to grow your career with a leading team and make a real contribution to the future of renewable energy, we would love to hear from you. #LI-Hybrid #LI-AR1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
