Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Projected Start: August 24, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 37-bed Surgical/Telemetry unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio (1:4 for Heart Cath patients)
• Manage and monitor patients requiring telemetry, including Heart Cath recovery and bubble studies
• Operate and manage equipment including PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes
• Assist with central line care and administration of medication drips
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Patient Care Techs and Unit Clerks
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Telemetry experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Ability to work independently with strong critical thinking skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience at large teaching facilities
• Previous experience with Meditech EMR
• Positive, engaged attitude with the ability to adapt quickly to new environments
