Senior Backend Engineer

Seeking a skilled Senior Backend Engineer (High-Throughput Platforms) to work remotely in a full-time capacity, responsible for designing and building internal platform services and high-throughput backend capabilities that support engineering teams in delivering their products efficiently. Key Responsibilities Design and build internal platform services and shared infrastructure focused on developer experience and operational ergonomics Architect high-throughput backend platforms capable of sustaining high request volumes with predictable latency Develop durable event-processing pipelines and asynchronous job execution platforms for faster feature delivery Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline Six or more years of professional backend or platform engineering experience Strong expertise in designing distributed systems with attention to consistency, availability, and latency Advanced proficiency in at least one major backend language such as Java, Go, Scala, Rust, or modern C++ Deep understanding of high-throughput messaging and event-driven architectures using technologies like Kafka or Pulsar
