Sales and Events Manager

Job Summary

Chef Tim Love is looking for an energetic, personable, and polished Sales & Events Manager to join our dynamic team at our newest location, Meraki. In this role, you will be the driving force behind planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events while also developing and nurturing sales opportunities. Duties

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to attract new clients and retain existing ones, boosting overall revenue.
• Plan, organize, and oversee a wide range of events, including conferences, banquets, weddings, and corporate gatherings, ensuring all details are flawlessly executed.
• Negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms that align with budget goals.
• Coordinate with catering, banquet staff, and other departments to deliver seamless event experiences that exceed guest expectations.
• Manage event budgets by tracking expenses, optimizing resource allocation, and upselling additional services or upgrades.
• Promote events through targeted marketing efforts and social media campaigns to maximize attendance and visibility.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and maintaining clear communication throughout the planning process.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event management within hospitality settings such as hotels, restaurants, or event venues.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively while maintaining positive relationships.
• Knowledge of event marketing strategies and upselling techniques to enhance revenue opportunities.
• Familiarity with banquet operations, catering services, and contract management processes.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Outstanding communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, vendors, and team members.
