Quick Facts Location: Bossier City, LA Start Date: 09/21/2026 End Date: 12/19/2026 Shift: 10-Hour Night Shift (8:00 PM 6:30 AM, Monday-Sunday, rotating weekends and scheduled holidays) Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Contract Licensure/Certs: LA License in Clinical Laboratory Science, ASCP or equivalent Experience: 2-3 years minimum Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $62.40 Pay package discussed upon application Benefits Include: Competitive pay packages Weekly direct deposit pay schedule Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements 24/7 dedicated team support What You ll Do Perform hematology, chemistry, coagulation, urinalysis, and body fluid analysis in a core laboratory setting Operate and troubleshoot advanced laboratory instrumentation, including Ortho VITROS 5600, Beckman DxC 700AU, DiaSorin Liaison XL, and others Support departmental leadership as shift coordinator during the night shift Maintain independent workflow with minimal supervision Ensure accurate charting using Meditech Expanse (highly preferred experience) Adhere to safety and quality standards during testing and reporting Collaborate with other facilities in emergency troubleshooting when necessary What You Need Required: Louisiana Clinical Laboratory Science License ASCP certification (or equivalent) in Medical Laboratory Science 2-3 years lab experience in hematology, chemistry, coagulation, or urinalysis Proficiency with core lab equipment and systems, especially Meditech Expanse (preferred) Preferred: Experience with instrumentation such as Abbott Architect, Sysmex, Cellavision, and Radiometer ABL 90 Strong independent work skills and problem-solving ability Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high-volume laboratory environment About the Assignment This assignment is at a reputable hospital in Bossier City, Louisiana, focusing on high-quality, timely laboratory testing on a night shift schedule.
