We're looking for adaptable and committed substitute teachers to support learning across a single school building. You’ll work with multiple classrooms, gaining valuable teaching experience and building lasting relationships in one consistent setting. We are seeking licensed Teachers to join us supporting students. In this role positively contributing to the lives of children in special education by supporting students with academic adaptations, and social/behavioral needs, and general classroom needs. Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance students learning experiences and support them as needed Teachers would be expected to work with Neurodiverse students within a classroom setting Washington State Certified Substitute or Teachers License with a Bachelor’s degree or higher Applicants must have professional proficiency in English US Work Authorization - Zen Educate cannot provide sponsorship for an employment visa or relocation assistance at this time. Prior experience working with children in a structured setting is an asset. Prior experience, personal or professional, assisting people with special needs or disabilities. Additional physical requirements may be requested during your application process Previous experience working in special education Teaching, Behavioral Technician, or PCA experience Crisis prevention (CPI) training Pay: $30 - $35 per hour, paid weekly. Schedule: Subbing/on Call (Minimum 1 day per week) or 5 days throughout Monday to Friday, within hours of 7:30 - 3:00/4:30 pm, depending on school demand and schedule Weekly pay by direct deposit, with paper check available on request
