Permanent Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) — FQHC - Harbor City, CA
TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Harbor City, California. This permanent, full-time opportunity offers outpatient-only primary care in a mission-driven, multi-specialty environment serving an urban underserved population. This position is ideal for physicians who are passionate about community health, team-based care, and expanding access to primary care services.
Position Details:
- Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
- Specialty: Family Medicine (Outpatient Primary Care)
- Setting: Outpatient Only – FQHC
- Location: Harbor City, CA
- Schedule: Monday – Friday Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Call: No night or weekend call
- Patient Volume: 20–22 patients per day
- Work Style: Team-Based
- EMR: Currently utilizing AmazingCharts; transitioning to NextGen in the coming months
Practice Environment:
- Multi-specialty outpatient clinic structure
- Serves underserved, low-income, and uninsured urban population
- 180,000 visits annually across multiple Los Angeles County locations
- Multidisciplinary support including: Family Medicine Physicians, Pediatricians, Internists, Endocrinologists, Dentists, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Clinical Social Workers
- No inpatient responsibilities
Candidate Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine
- Active California medical license
- DEA registration
- Currently completing residency, board eligible, or board certified candidates welcome
Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation: $140–$145 per hour
- Sign-On Incentive: Available
