Lighting Designer I

Develop design and technical skills to grow as a professional lighting designer Support design and production documentation conveying lighting design concepts and intent Use hand sketching, mock-ups, design charrettes, Revit/BIM production, and lighting calculation software Interact professionally with internal and external project team members Attend meetings representing PAE under the LUMA brand Complete assigned work on time with instruction from project leads Support preparation and production of detailed project deliverables Participate actively in project design and construction phases Participate in lighting industry organizations and events Perform other duties as assigned Requirements College Degree required, preferably in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or Theatrical Lighting Time management and organization Open and receptive to constructive critique Clear graphic and oral communication of design Ability to work collaboratively with others Experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM), preferred Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign Experience with photometric analysis software (AGi32), preferred Experience with 3D digital design modeling software such as SketchUp, 3DS Max, Rhino, or similar, preferred Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in lighting design through proficiency in Revit/BIM, photometric analysis software, and 3D digital design modeling. Strong organizational and time management skills, coupled with effective communication and collaboration abilities, are essential for successful project execution.
