Truck Driver Local A or B

MUST HAVE 6 MONTHS PRIOR FLATBED EXPERIENCE IN THE PAST 2 YEARS TO APPLY Local Flatbed Drivers. Class A & B/Mon - Fri We are currently seeking Class A & B Flatbed Drivers to haul building materials. Operating Area: Upstate SC, the Midlands of SC, and the Charleston, SC area. We also cover western NC & Charlotte. We deliver into the Knoxville TN area and also the eastern TN area, as well. Qualifications Drivers must have at least 6 full months of flatbed experience in the past 2 years (2-3 years preferred). Experience with Forklifts and building materials a plus. Details Mon-Fri workweek. Drivers are home every night. Weekend work is voluntary. Drivers are expected to be at their first stop by 7-7:30 AM. Daily routes will dictate the driver’s actual start time. Arrival times back to the yard vary daily and by run. Class A drivers are paid by the mile and stop. $1000 minimum base, average $1100-$1400 per week. Class B drivers are paid by the hour ($17-$18 per hour). Average $900-$1,000 per week. Both A & B drivers are paid for backhauls & customer returns. Truck types may vary: Freightliner, Volvo or International. Transmissions could vary; drivers should be familiar with manuals.
