Travel RN – MSICU (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a combined CCU and Burn Trauma ICU setting with a 2:1 patient ratio
• Perform and assist with advanced bedside procedures including central line insertions, arterial line insertions, thoracotomies, bedside tracheostomies, and chest tube insertions
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Collaborate with supervisors, PCTs, and the interdisciplinary team present on every shift
• Adhere to unit scheduling requirements including every-other-weekend rotation and float assignments as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience
• Minimum 2 years of ICU/CCU specialty experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech electronic health records system
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
• CCRN or TCRN specialty certification
