The Role We are looking for a strong and technically grounded Sr. Manager of Accounting to join Reformation's finance team at an exciting stage of our growth. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role built for someone who loves being close to the work, takes pride in getting the details right, and is ready to broaden their accounting footprint in a public company environment. This role sits within a broader accounting leadership team and works closely alongside senior accounting leaders across GL, revenue, and general accounting. What You’ll Do: General Ledger and Month-End Close Own or support the month-end close process across the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analyses to ensure completeness and accuracy Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and management reports in accordance with US GAAP Reconcile and investigate outstanding balances, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies and variances Support the year-end close process and assist with the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules Revenue Accounting Own or support the revenue and receivables month-end close process, including reconciliations and analyses to ensure appropriate revenue recognition and financial statement accuracy Oversee accounting across multiple revenue streams including DTC, wholesale, and e-commerce, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 Monitor and accurately capture evolving business activity in the financial statements as the business grows and new revenue models emerge Controls, Process Improvement, and Audit Support the design and implementation of scalable processes and internal controls that strengthen the close and compliance environment Act as a key contact for external auditors facilitating GL and revenue related testing Stay current on changes in accounting standards and flag their impact on the business Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Partnership Lead and develop a small team, building habits of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement Build strong working relationships with adjacent teams including FP&A, Customer Love, Tech, Wholesale, and Finance Support senior accounting leadership with financial results, reporting requests, and ad hoc analysis What You’ll Need: 5 to 7 years of progressive accounting experience with a solid GL and revenue accounting foundation, including some people leadership experience CPA required or actively pursuing Solid understanding of general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes in a retail, apparel, e-commerce, or CPG environment Working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition in a multi-channel retail environment Exposure to or experience within a public company reporting environment a strong plus Strong ERP experience required; NetSuite strongly preferred Strong Excel proficiency including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced functions Clear communicator who can translate accounting detail into actionable insight for the teams around them Self-motivated and solutions-driven with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Who You Are You have strong integrity and hold yourself and your team to a high standard You are a practitioner at heart — you are not afraid to get into the details and you take pride in getting it right You are collaborative by nature and build trust easily across teams and functions You are ready to step into broader leadership and see this role as the next chapter in building your career You are energized by complexity and motivated by growth Compensation: At Reformation, we believe in transparency and equity when it comes to compensation. For this role, the anticipated base salary range is $130,000 - $160,000 + 10% bonus eligibility, depending on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal compensation equity. This role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a range of factors, including company performance, department goals, and individual contributions. Bonus amounts and eligibility are not guaranteed and are determined at the company’s discretion.
