Own the uptime
Join us in Houston, TX and take point on keeping our facility running at peak performance. As the Facilities Operations Lead Technician, you’ll combine hands-on expertise with team leadership to prevent issues before they start and resolve them fast when they arise.
Your challenge- Lead a crew of maintenance technicians—set direction, provide guidance, and ensure quality workmanship.
- Run a proactive preventive maintenance program for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose and repair failures across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
- Plan, prioritize, and schedule maintenance to reduce disruption and downtime.
- Document all work, track parts usage, and manage inventory accuracy.
- Drive compliance with safety protocols and company standards.
- Train new hires and reinforce best practices across the team.
- Partner with other departments to address service requests and improve facility operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- 5+ years of maintenance experience with 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting ability and attention to detail.
- Team-first mindset with the ability to operate independently.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Willing to support flexible hours and on-call rotation.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
