About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a hands-on, high-impact role. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive assessment of the organization's financial operations, including the reporting structure and internal processes. This assessment will involve financial forensics to identify areas of risk, inefficiency, or lack of visibility. The CFO will also be tasked with reviewing and evaluating current billing structures, contracts, and financial workflows, and must be prepared to provide immediate operational and financial support during an organizational transition. A key aspect of the role is to strengthen and mentor the existing accounting and finance staff, while also ensuring the continuity of day-to-day financial operations and helping to create structure and accountability. The ideal CFO for this position will have an extensive background in senior financial leadership, with a strong focus on financial operations, process assessment, and organizational turnaround. The role requires the ability to perform both strategic analysis and hands-on financial work, as well as experience in navigating complex contract and billing environments. While nonprofit industry experience is highly preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement. The candidate should be a seasoned finance leader who can work independently, build trust, and quickly gain control of financial operations, particularly during periods of change.
