Admissions Counselor Job Summary The Office of Admissions is a dynamic and growing organizationcommitted to assisting future students learn about and enroll atthe University of Utah. We are seeking 2 personable, energetic andpoised Admissions Counselors to join our team to help us expand ourrecruitment reach in- and out-of-state, continue to increase ournew student enrollment, and shape the entering class. Serve as primary contact for prospective students, answeringrelated emails and phone calls Develop, implement, report and assess a domestic studentrecruitment plan that helps the University of Utah achieve itsenrollment goals Implement a domestic student recruitment plan which includesin-person and virtual visits to high schools, community-basedorganizations, and attending recruitment initiatives within thecommunity of an assigned territory Lead information sessions, both on and off campus, attendcollege fairs, and advise students, families, and counselors on theU's admissions process and policies. Build personalized relationships with prospective students,families, coordinators, alumni, and other constituents in supportof the recruitment goals for students In collaboration with the campus experience team, represent theU at all on and off-campus admission and recruiting events in anassigned territory, for first-year students Read and evaluate all domestic applications in regionalterritory Significant travel up to 4 - 6 weeks annually within theterritory between early September to November and January to May isrequired Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Requires a bachelor's degree and 2-4 years' related experience, orequivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two yearsof related work experience).
