Neurology - Pediatric Physician

Inpatient Pediatric Neurology and Inpatient Pediatric Epilepsy Locums Job in Charleston, South Carolina Beginning October 5th & Ongoing Assignment

Coverage Details
One week (7 consecutive days) per month
Provider will cover 24 hour shifts. Monday at 8am to Monday at 8am.
Inpatient Pediatric Neurology provider will round with Resident Team. Providers will round on inpatients, ICU, NICU, ER and other consults. Average patients per day 6-12 inpatients.
Average 4-8 pager calls per night that include consults, calls from caregivers, etc.
Inpatient Pediatric Epilepsy provider will see patients in epilepsy monitoring unit (avg 4-6/week), read all inpatient and outpatient EEGs. Average 8 inpatient EEGs/day and 10 outpatient EEGs/day.
Remote Night EEG coverage, 5pm to 8am. Options of per night rate, full week of 7 nights, or weekend beginning Fri 5p-8a then 24h 8a-8a rate Sat and Sun.
Average 5 EEGs per night monitoring. MUSC will provide a laptop with the Natus software for remote EEG reading.
Provider needs to be familiar with Natus, EEG platform.
