MRI Technologist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a hospital position in Albany, NY. The MRI Technologist will prepare and position patients, follow physician scanning instructions, and operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images. The role includes scanning inpatient, ICU, and ER patients and requires proficiency in routine MRI exams. This position does not require responsibility for breast, cardiac, or prostate MRI procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

• ARRT or ARMRIT certification preferred.
• New York State licensure with contrast injection authority.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 3 years of MRI experience. Must be able to independently perform scans.
• Experience operating Siemens 3T Skyra and 1.5T Symphony MRI scanners or equivalent.
• Experience scanning inpatient, ICU, and ER patients in a hospital setting.
• Experience using Epic EMR preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ARRT certification (if not already listed under required).
• Prior experience in a 400+ bed hospital environment.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1700-0100 (evening coverage as provided).
• Workdays: Monday through Friday preferred (per client preference).
