Lifeguard Seasonal Service Worker Raymond Hill School, New Britain, CT, US 2 days ago Requisition ID: 1457 Salary Range: $18.00 To $21.00 Hourly Overview To provide a safe, positive, enriching summer experience for children ages 5-18 years old, by overseeing the youth's use of the pool as well as basic water testing and pool maintenance. Typical Duties With the support of Klingberg staff, supervise children in the pool and on the pool deck at all times Prevent drowning and other injuries from occurring Controlling unruly behavior Administer First aid including CPR as needed Conduct head counts at regular intervals Administer swim test to determine if students can swim in the deep end of the pool Document which children pass the swim test Maintain open communication with program staff about any issues, trends or problems during use of the pool Test water regularly and clean pool as needed Qualifications/Requirements American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certification High School Diploma Candidates must be able to ensure the safety of patrons by minimizing or eliminating hazardous situations or behaviors #J-18808-Ljbffr Klingberg Comprehensive Program Services Inc
