Job Title

Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location

Gloucester, MA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
• Perform telemetry monitoring and interpretation as part of routine patient assessment
• Float to a secondary facility location as needed based on staffing requirements
• Participate in biweekly orientation as scheduled during the assignment period
• Complete a telemetry competency test on the first day of assignment (pass/fail)

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required
• Minimum 1 year of prior travel nursing experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• TNCC certification required
• Flu vaccine required during onboarding; declinations are not accepted
• Candidates must have been separated from this facility for a minimum of 6 months (permanent, per diem, or contract) to be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity or trauma-level emergency department
• Familiarity with telemetry protocols and cardiac monitoring in an acute care environment
