Work Environment

This onsite position requires the Physical Therapist to deliver services primarily within a home care setting. You will visit patients in their residences to provide hands-on therapy, ensuring a comfortable and familiar atmosphere that enhances their treatment experience. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while still fulfilling essential job responsibilities. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Movement Physical Therapy & Wellness, your role will encompass a variety of essential duties, including:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, ensuring accurate diagnoses and tailored treatment plans.
• Customizing and implementing rehabilitation programs focused on enhancing mobility, strength, flexibility, and pain management using evidence-based practices.
• Utilizing specialized therapy equipment and modalities, such as therapeutic ultrasound and electrical stimulation, to facilitate patient recovery and promote optimal outcomes.
• Continuously monitoring patient progress, making data-driven adjustments to treatment protocols as necessary, and maintaining accurate documentation that complies with regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to provide holistic and coordinated care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base primarily consists of adults facing a variety of physical challenges ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management. We also support individuals recovering from sports injuries and those navigating the long-term effects of neurological conditions. Your role will involve building strong therapeutic relationships with patients, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery through education and encouragement.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• An active or eligible Physical Therapist license in Florida.
• Demonstrated ability to assess and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, necessary for patient education and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
