What are we looking for in a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant?Nurse Practitioners/ Physician Assistants at Comprehensive are part of a multidisciplinary team that provides integrated behavioral health treatment to clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Collaborating with therapists, case managers, nurses and other members the treatment team, Nurse Practitioners/ Physician Assistants assist in developing individualized treatment plan for each client. Taking ownership of the pharmacological intervention, Nurse Practitioners/ Physician Assistants complete prescribe appropriate medications, and provide general medical counseling and referrals. Our medical provider team has the opportunity to meet monthly to staff cases and receives regular supervision from the Chief Medical Officer. In this role, strong communication skills, the desire to work in a collaborative team environment, and the ability to establish trusting relationships with clients will be essential.This position will cover 3 separate facilities, scheduled daily at each based on unit acuity. Each facility has a designated prescriber with a max of a 16-client case load at each.
