Engineering Manager
The Engineering Manager leads a team of engineers while remaining actively involved in product design, technical problem-solving, project execution, and manufacturing support. Partnering closely with operations, quality, and commercial teams to advance new product development, improving existing product lines, and aligning priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and provide technical direction to a team of engineers.
- Oversee new product development and improvements to existing products.
- Evaluate design concepts, technologies, project feasibility, costs, and resource requirements.
- Manage engineering projects, budgets, schedules, documentation, and performance reporting.
- Partner with internal teams and customers to define engineering requirements and support business growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in engineering, mechanical design, product development, or a related discipline.
- Aerospace, defense, thermal-management, environmental-control, or related component experience is highly preferred.
- 4+ years of direct leadership experience
- Strong proficiency with CAD design and engineering tools.
- Experience supporting engineered products in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong project management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
