Job Summary:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring accurate and safe patient care. They work independently within their scope of practice, maintaining equipment and adhering to radiation safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer radiopharmaceuticals and conduct nuclear medicine procedures with precision.
  
  
• 
  Coordinate patient flow and manage departmental activities to optimize workflow.
  
  
• 
  Maintain radiation protection practices and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  
  
• 
  Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, performing routine maintenance as needed.
  
  
• 
  Exercise professional judgment to maintain quality and safety in all procedures.
  
  
• 
  Support department needs by performing related imaging modalities when required.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active ARRT RT (R) registry and Nuclear Medicine Technology licensure.
  
  
• 
  Possess CPR certification and ODH licensure (pending OK).
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate at least one year of experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred.
  
  
• 
  Be certified in nuclear medicine and capable of venipuncture.
  
  
• 
  Have a minimum of an Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related Allied Health field.
