Shipping Coordinator

This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a nationwide Oil & Gas company in Berwick, LO. Hours: 7am - 4pm

Job Summary: The Shipping Coordinator performs miscellaneous tasks within the Shipping department, facilitates material movements, crating/uncrating of shipments, organizing/offloading of shipments, and assists with multiple daily materials functions.

Roles and Responsibilities

Work directly with Shipping team to organize, accept, and prepare incoming and outgoing shipments.
Work with internal customers to maintain production flow.
Transport material to designated location.
Perform various materials functions within SAP.
Ensures proper documentation on all shipments.
Assist in crating/uncrating when necessary.
Perform all tasks in the safest manner possible to ensure that there is no damage to the equipment or personnel.
Follow all HSE and Quality processes.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Requirements

· High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) · 1 to 5 years of related experience Tools / Equipment: - Forklift - Standard hand tools (hammer, crowbar, drill)
