Join us!/ph3Job Title: Hot Shot Driver/h3pThe Hot Shot Driver delivers batteries to dealers when requested. They also assist with warehouse operations and assist Route Managers./ph3Job Components:/h3ulliRun the Hot Shots and assigned routes on a timely basis as needed/liliLoad and unload batteries/liliGeneral warehousing duties as assigned by management, including assisting customers./liliDeliver batteries to customers on a timely basis and in a safe and professional manner/liliFollow all Environmental Health and Safety rules and policies/liliEnsure batteries are charged, cleaned and dated, and that stock is rewrapped after rotation./liliAccurately complete reports and claims/liliInteract professionally with all stakeholders including team members, managers and customers./liliFollow / fulfill all driver program requirements, as specified by the manager./liliPerform other duties as assigned./li/ulh3Qualifications:/h3ulliMust have a clean driving record/liliMust be able to operate a motor vehicle and fork lift./liliMust have current, valid state drivers license./liliAbility to read, write, and do simple math./liliWorking knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems required/liliWorking knowledge of electronic inventory management tools is required (tablets, scanners)./li/ulh3Scope Data:/h3ulliWorks under general supervision and guidance/liliAccountable for general warehouse duties and backup driving responsibilities, in addition to occasional front counter customer service./li/ulh3Work Environment:/h3ulliRegularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk./liliRepetitive lifting./liliFrequent sitting, standing and walking./liliMust be able to drive a fork lift/liliSpecific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus./liliBe able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, without assistance and occasionally lifting up to 75lbs/liliAbility to operate a motor vehicle/liliExposed to battery warehouse conditions, such as exposure to moving equipment, mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals./liliUse of PPE required/li/ulpNote: We do not accept resumes from headhunters, placement agencies, or other suppliers that have not signed a formal agreement with us./ppInterstate Batteries provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
