Job Title: Host/Hostess

This position is for a pool of applicants for several locations.

Reports To: General Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Description:

At MORI our Hosts greet and welcome guests' first, they do this with a smile to leave a warm and lasting impression. Our host team members are responsible for creating a warm and friendly environment and to insure our guests have a wonderful and memorable customer experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Consistently evaluates premises for cleanliness in accordance with MORI Standards.
• Always greet customers, guests, visitors with a smile.
• Maintains a neat, clean and organized front-of-house environment.
• Always provides excellent customer service.
• Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Accurately uses and balance cash registers.
• Maintain cash control over register drawer and verify amounts are correct.
• Always follows and maintains safety and health procedures.
• Other duties assigned.

• Energetic, friendly, cheerful, dependable and always maintains a positive attitude.
• Values teamwork and understands the importance of serving and helping others.
• Always has a smile and is able to create and maintain eye contact.
• Must be able to organize, plan ahead, and engage in positive conversations with our guests.
• Must be at least 16 years of age

Physical Requirements:

• Remain on your feet for several hours at a time
• Lift up to 20 pounds
• Bend, kneel, stoop, and sweep frequently
