About the Role

Our organization is in search of a committed Ob/Gyn to join our team in Jamestown, New York, providing care at UPMC Chautauqua. With over 128 years of service, UPMC Chautauqua is known for its advanced medical technology and a comprehensive range of services, including diagnostics, acute care, cancer treatment, and rehabilitation.

Team Structure

Become part of a collaborative group consisting of six ObGyns, six advanced practice providers, and two dedicated Laborists.

Scope of Practice

• General Ob/GYN responsibilities including OB call, deliveries, prenatal care, and gynecology
• Dedicated operating room (OR) block time

Collaborative Care Model

Engage in an integrated midwife program that emphasizes physician collaboration.

Technology and Facilities

• Access to the DaVinci Robot for minimally invasive gynecological procedures
• Dedicated OR suite located within a new, state-of-the-art facility

Clinical Volume

Join a robust obstetrical program with approximately 700 births annually, ensuring consistent clinical volume and team support.

Call Structure

Utilize a first-call system with a designated backup provider to maintain balanced coverage and support.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical institution
• Completion of an accredited ObGyn residency program
• Open to candidates at all career stages, including new graduates and seasoned physicians, with tailored support and resources
• American Board Eligible or Certified in ObGyn
• Ability to secure an unrestricted New York Medical License and obtain necessary credentials
• DEA certification

Salary Information

Minimum Salary: $390,000 | Maximum Salary: $406,666
