Job Details:

• Night shift position covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights weekly
• Block scheduling type
• No on-call requirements
• Patient ratio of 1:1 on nights
• 48-hour shifts are not approved
• Position does not float between units
• Will cover general X-ray department for part of shift and work independently for half of shift
• Back-up employee on call as needed to support one for X-ray and one for CT
• Covers ER, urgent care referral, and inpatient cases with a variety of diagnoses
• Treats patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Operates 2 GE CT units, 2 portable X-ray units (Carestream & GE), 2 C-arms (GE), and 2 Phillips general X-ray rooms
• Uses Epic charting system and PACS; experience with Epic required
• Contrast injectors available on site
• Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS
• At least 1 year of experience required
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Required skills include: 3D rendering, abdomen without and/or with contrast, carotid, cervical, chest without and/or with contrast, head without and/or with contrast, heart imaging, intravenous pyelogram, isolation precautions/PPE, lumbar, multiplanar reconstruction, musculoskeletal trauma, PACS, pelvis without and/or with contrast, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, radiation safety, region of interest measurement, sinuses, soft tissue neck, starting peripheral IVs, thoracic, trauma head, vascular chest, and vascular CTA
• Scrub color: any color
• No parking fee
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• May be expected to float between nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
• 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years, to be submitted during the compliance process and prior to start

Facility:

This is a Short Term Acute Care Level IV Trauma Center with 60 total staffed beds. The facility operates a 44-bed hospital inclusive of an emergency room, operating room, and inpatient units. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, radiology, and rapid response teams, ensuring comprehensive patient care across a wide range of diagnoses and acuity levels.
