Male Hifz Instructor

DarusSalam Tahfiz Academy for Qur'an Memorization is seeking a passionate and skilled full-time male Hifz instructor to join our Tahfiz Program, beginning June 2026. Position Overview As a Hifz Teacher, you will be responsible for overseeing the memorization and progress of full-time Qur’an memorization students and Islamic studies to students in a supportive, structured learning environment. Qualifications & Requirements Strong proficiency in Hifz with sound application of tajwīd Prior experience teaching Hifz or working with students in a structured learning environment Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a productive learning atmosphere Energetic, approachable, and able to build meaningful connections with students Knowledgeable in foundational Islamic studies, including sīrah, ḥadīth, fiqh, etc. Ability to maintain positive communication with parents and administration Open to professional development, training, and ongoing improvement Committed to maintaining and implementing DarusSalam’s educational standards and policies Organized, dependable, and able to effectively monitor and track student progress Responsibilities Teach Qur’an memorization to classes of approximately 10–13 students Deliver engaging Islamic studies lessons appropriate for younger learners Foster a positive, disciplined classroom environment conducive to spiritual and academic growth Schedule Monday–Friday: 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM Saturday: 7:45 AM – 11:30 AM Compensation Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. #J-18808-Ljbffr DarusSalam
