SAP UI5/ABAP Programmer

Leads and coordinates the global standard solutions for SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (MII) and ITS Mobile solutions. This includes the implementation, maintenance and further rollouts of the SAP MII / ITS Mobile solution and their interfaces to the logistics and manufacturing systems as well as to the system control (PLC). Conducts and coordinates the most complex business process implementation, test, commissioning and stabilization for medium - large projects in an international environment. Requires highest level understanding of organization's business processes and requirements. Recommends and facilitates quality improvement efforts inside the IT organization as well as in the business in the process area of responsibility. Has technical knowledge of the solutions available as well as best practices for the business processes. Stays up to date on future innovations, technical trends and applies this to direct future changes. Can serve as an international IT technical lead for medium - large sized projects. Collaborates closely with the functional IT colleagues to understand the business requirements to determine the correct system implementation. Coordinates technical specification and implementation. Identifies gaps in the IT solution. Assists and recommends business process redesign and documentation as needed. Translates functional specifications for into technical specifications for IT development. Familiar with technical system implementation in order to enhance functionality. Partners with IT design to implement current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements such as forms of data input, how data is to be processed, and how the results will be managed. Expert in current "as-is" process and works with the business to define the "to-be" process. Partners with the global network to ensure synergies with existing systems and alignment with group strategy. Reviews system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system -identifies and differentiates system configuration from programming solutions. Writes detailed technical specifications for program development. Performs and documents system development (programming). Implements system interface design and development. Verify solutions via testing. Provides on-call support as needed. Prepares/coordinates technical reports, process documentation, test plans, training needs assessment, and implementation plans. Ensures target achievement is consistently attained. Capable of multi project management -manage multiple projects simultaneously. Performs other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Science, Business or the equivalent of 4 years professional experience in SAP ABAP or Web development. 3+ years ABAP programming including interface technology, object oriented programming skills 3+ years of experience with database systems, operating systems and IT relevant infrastructure environment 3+ years of experience in all of the following: in the area of assigned responsibility, team-oriented and collaborative environment. 1+ years of SAP functional (configuration) knowledge with SAP TRM & eWM. Experience with the following is preferred: SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (SAP MII) JQuery
