CNC Machinist

We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. In this role you will set up, operate, and clean CNC and milling machines to ensure efficient operations, prevent contamination and achieve optimal utilization. At Addman you’ll be part of a skilled and growing team pushing the limits of aerospace and additive manufacturing. Job Type: Full‑time Essential Job Functions Setup, operate and perform daily maintenance on additive manufacturing machines. Strictly adhere to proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Make high‑quality parts to specifications. Help develop workable methods for machining operations. Make proper use of machines, tooling, and inspection equipment. Set up, machine, and inspect all required operations. Proficient at inspecting sizes and geometries down to .0002”. Provide leadership and guidance to less experienced machinists to upgrade their machining, inspection, and problem‑solving skills. Requirements To conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government. Proficient with manual and CNC mills, manual and CNC lathes, hand filing, and deburring processes. Proficient at programming and making full use of all CNC control functions. Develops effective methods. Sets up tools and fixtures. Selects and uses inspection equipment and techniques. Interprets drawings and specifications. Determines acceptability of quality of work. Resolves process issues. Deburrs and finishes at a high level of quality. Meets time and quality standards. Seeks out additional duties when needed. Qualifications Graduate of a related two‑year vocational school program with three years of related work experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Able to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities to exceed customer expectations. Works independently, demonstrates a strong work ethic, is self‑motivated, and can complete tasks with minimal supervision. Ability to work on cross‑functional teams to support the core business, ensuring quality products are delivered on time. Computer aptitude (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel). Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Must be a team player and willing to learn new skills and concepts. Eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship. Use proper lifting techniques. Be able and comfortable working in small confined spaces while following proper safety protocol.
