Senior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Salt Lake City, Utah. This position supports manufacturing operations and serves as a key business partner to plant leadership, helping drive financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and operational decision-making. This is a highly visible role that offers the opportunity to work closely with finance and operations leaders while providing critical insight into plant performance.Responsibilities:

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning activities
• Analyze financial results, forecasts, and variances
• Partner with plant managers and operations leaders to support business decisions
• Conduct inventory, cost of goods sold, margin, and profitability analysis
• Maintain and enhance financial models and reporting tools
• Track and analyze operational KPIs and performance metrics
• Present financial results and forecast updates to leadership
• Identify cost drivers and support cost-saving initiatives
• Assist with month-end reporting and financial analysis
• Support ongoing business transformation and operational improvement projects

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 3-5+ years of Financial Analysis, FP&A, Operations Finance, Cost Accounting, or related experience
• Experience supporting manufacturing or plant operations environments
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, formulas, and financial modeling
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
