Position Summary: Techniciansare responsible forparticipatingwiththe Fabrication teammembersinplanning,organizing,and performingthe necessary maintenance and shop functions tomaintainthe facility and/or equipment underthesupervisionof theManager. Primary Responsibilities: Comply withall Safety rules, Nestle Integrated Management System and all other company policies and procedures Completework orders in AMM (Asset and Maintenance Management)work orders using shop equipment or portable equipment for work in the Fabrication area and other departments such as pilot plants. Needproficientknowledge ofCNC/manuallathesand mills Should have basicknowledgepressbreaks, industrial shears,roll forming, water jet,and other fabricationmachines and tools. AccuratelyCreate,read,and interpret drawings, blueprints, and sketches.(AutocadInventor,Autocad) Make machine and material selections. Conceive ideas and produce parts to solve production problems. Be able to work from verbal instructions and rough sketches. Successful mechanical installation, alignment, integration, and commissioning of new or modified equipment. Assistsothers in setups and problem solving when asked. Participate (give/receive) cross training to promote broad knowledge base in equipment, processes, and utility systems. Customfabricatesparts, frames, brackets, piping, and mechanical assemblies fabricated to specification, with properfit‑upand workmanship. Determineasneededfits,finishesand equipmentfunctionality. Emergency repair-support of equipment breakdowns, safety, and quality issues Requires ability to use machine/equipment manuals and reference books and to work independently and as a team. Work in a TEAM environment. Clean up equipment and work area atendof your shift.Maintain a safe, clean work area for team and self High qualityand quantityof work completedby self and team. Interact andparticipatewith project teams asrequired. Requires working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and test equipment. Monitor and coordinatecontractor’sactivities on site and their compliance with NDCMarysvillecontractor work rules program. Other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications (Minimum Education, Experience, and Knowledge) High school diploma or equivalent Knowledgeof Maintenance,Machineshopand/or Fabrication Shop operations withdemonstratedexpertisein two or more skilled trade areasand hasadequateknowledge in all these areasto work seamlessly. Excellentmath skills.Can use Trigonometryto solve angles,convert fractions to decimals,accurately readprecision measuring tools such as calipers/micrometersand accurately reada tape measure. Goodpeople skillsat all levels of management Leadershipqualities Salary: $68,040.90 to $96,986 per year Bonus Eligibility: 7% The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
