We’re looking for a motivated, personable individual to join our growing State Farm Insurance agency. This W-2 full-time position is a mix of sales, customer service, account management, and marketing , with plenty of opportunities provided by the agency to build a strong sales pipeline.

We are a newer agency that opened in April and have been fortunate to grow quickly. Because we are still a small team, this is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of their role and grow alongside the agency.

What You'll Do:

Sales & Lead Follow-Up

You’ll be responsible for building and managing your own sales pipeline. We provide multiple sources of opportunities, including:

• Up to 10 individually assigned leads per day paid by the Agency.
• Leads provided by State Farm
• Incoming phone and walk-in opportunities
• Existing sales opportunities and follow-up tasks
• State-to-state customer transfers
• Current customer cross-sell opportunities
• Agency social media generated leads

You’ll quote prospects, follow up consistently, identify insurance needs, and help turn opportunities into long-term customers.

Current Customer Sales

A major part of the position is working with our existing book of business.

You’ll review current customer accounts, identify potential coverage gaps or additional insurance needs, reach out to customers, and provide quotes for additional products when appropriate.

Social Media & Customer Acquisition

You’ll help manage the agency’s social media customer acquisition efforts, including:

• Creating and participating in short-form video and Reels
• Posting in local Facebook and community groups
• Creating general agency content
• Responding to social media inquiries
• Turning online engagement into quote opportunities

Sales inquiries generated through our social media efforts will become part of your sales pipeline.

Customer Service & Account Management

We believe the relationship with a customer continues after the sale.

You’ll be expected to service the customers you bring into the agency while also helping with general office needs. This may include:

• Taking payments
• Answering policy and billing questions
• Assisting with policy changes
• Obtaining customer documentation
• Helping walk-in customers
• Answering incoming calls
• Assisting with other service needs as they arise

• Is comfortable talking with people in person and over the phone
• Is motivated by sales and earning opportunities
• Can consistently follow up without needing to be reminded
• Is organized and capable of managing multiple leads at once
• Is willing to prospect instead of relying entirely on provided leads
• Is comfortable creating or participating in social media content
• Provides great customer service after making the sale
• Works well as part of a small team
• Is competitive but understands that the office succeeds as a team
• Is willing to obtain the necessary insurance licenses

Insurance or sales experience is helpful, but work ethic, personality, coachability, and willingness to learn are extremely important to us.

Realistic first year earning potential with Base & Salary 65-80k. W-2 Position. 16-18 an hour depending on licensing completion timeline plus generous commission structure.

Earning Potential: This position offers uncapped commission , meaning your earning potential grows with your production. Highly motivated and efficient team members who consistently manage their leads, follow up, and generate sales can have the opportunity to earn $80,000–$100,000+ annually based on performance.

Must Be Willing & Able To:

Before applying, please make sure you are able and willing to meet the following requirements:

• Work in person at our office. This is not a remote or hybrid position.
• Work our full office schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Study for and pass your Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licensing exams.
• Commit the necessary time outside of work to complete licensing coursework and prepare for the exams. Depending on the individual, the studying and licensing process can take a few weeks .
• Be willing to learn. No prior insurance experience or licensing is required. We will help coordinate the licensing process and provide guidance on what needs to be completed.
• Successfully obtain the required licenses in order to perform the full responsibilities of the position.

We will reimburse the cost of approved licensing study materials and licensing exams.
