Facilities Project Manager

Overview Our client, a water technology provider, is seeking a Facilities Project Manager for a 6-month contract opportunity located in Pewaukee, WI. This role is fully onsite. Responsibilities Lead and deliver multiple facilities and manufacturing projects at the Pewaukee campus, including an office remodel, a large-scale document digitization initiative, and a warehouse redesign. Oversee project life cycles from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget; serve as the single point of contact for internal teams and external vendors. Coordinate teams across offices and functions: communicate plans and logistics to site employees; manage cross-functional teams for digitization and warehouse redesign. Coordinate with suppliers and contractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements and escalating issues as appropriate. Oversee document management: evaluation, cataloging, and destruction/archive of physical documents in compliance with proprietary information protection standards. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, status reports, track deliverables, and document requirements, progress, and changes. Proactively identify risks, mitigate issues, and resolve problems as they arise. Organize project teams, assign tasks, and maintain balanced personnel resources according to project phases. Qualifications 3–5 years of experience managing facilities and/or manufacturing projects (not IT). Hands-on, high-communication project environments experience is essential. Exceptional organizational and communication skills; demonstrated ability to drive projects with minimal oversight. Experience managing vendors and cross-functional teams; comfortable working in fast-paced, changing environments. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is not required, but real-world facilities project management experience is required. Familiarity with PM tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Agile, Waterfall). Additional Details Travel: No significant travel; most work occurs on the Pewaukee campus.
